Soldiers enlisting in
Active Duty will serve one of the various Army posts around the United States or abroad. Soldiers enlisting in
Army Reserve will serve at a Post or Reserve center within in their state or the one closest to their state.

As the
Army is engaged in worldwide operations, they occupy many bases located across the globe where Soldiers are currently stationed. There are currently 73 Army international bases including in countries such as: Brazil, Egypt, Dominican Republic, Japan, Laos, Serbia, Turkey, and Yemen.
